Back to School
Spring Break has been awesome. Getting away to Lake Travis with friends was a wonderful retreat from the "real world," and spending time with family is always a treat.
So, it's back to school and the goings on at Pumphrey Elementary for me tomorrow. We'll find out how our first round of TAKS Reading testing went for our 3rd and 5th graders. I feel good about it, so I hope my feeling is on target. We need a boost.
Went to our small group meeting tonight. What a blessing! It was great to hear the stories of some of our group members and know them on a deeper level. Who knew that Harold and Don knew each other in high school and at Lee College?!
Take care everyone and let your light shine for the Lord!

Hey Nellie!
Welcome aboard the Blogger. I think blogging is fun and to read your blogs will be fun too.
Yes, Spring Break is over and I'm singing the blues.
"Oh, I gotta get back to school.... and I'm feeling kinda blue. My days off have been so mellow, got HGTV on the tube....I got the back to school....blues....oooohh yeah." :-/
Our fingers are crossed for good TAKS scores.
